Human Development Research Initiative (HDRI) is proud to announce its membership in the Alliance for Feminist Movements (AFM), joining a growing global community of over 400 organizations working to strengthen funding and support for feminist movements worldwide.

As a member of the AFM's Other Allies constituency group, HDRI joins a diverse, multistakeholder coalition committed to a shared vision: a world in which feminist movements thrive and are abundantly resourced to drive transformative, just, and inclusive change.

This membership reinforces HDRI's ongoing commitment to gender equity, one of our six thematic pillars, and reflects our broader belief that youth-led civic action and feminist movements are deeply interconnected in building more just and democratic societies.

Through the AFM, HDRI will have the opportunity to:

  • Participate in the selection of Steering Group representatives, helping shape the Alliance's leadership

  • Engage with the AFM's Shared Principles and Commitments

  • Take part in webinars, learning hubs, and other collaborative activities

  • Contribute to and benefit from a shared ecosystem of knowledge on funding feminist movements globally

We look forward to contributing to this collective effort and connecting with fellow members to advance stronger, better-resourced feminist movements everywhere.
