HDRI has been selected to join the European Commission's Zero Pollution Stakeholder Platform 🇪🇺

We're proud to share that the Human Development Research Initiative (HDRI) has been officially selected as a member organisation of the Zero Pollution Stakeholder Platform, coordinated by DG Environment (Directorate C – Zero Pollution, Water Resilience and Clean Urban Transition), in cooperation with the Comité Europeo de las Regiones.

The Platform brings together civil society, youth movements, business, academia, and local authorities from across the EU to help deliver the objectives of the Zero Pollution Action Plan — advancing integrated solutions on air, water, and soil pollution as part of Europe's green and digital transition.

As a youth-led civil society organisation working across all 27 Member States, this appointment is recognition of HDRI's continued commitment to evidence-based advocacy on environmental protection and biodiversity — and a chance to bring the voice of young Europeans directly into one of the Commission's key expert forums shaping EU environmental policy through 2029.

We look forward to contributing to the Platform's first meeting this September, and to working alongside fellow member organisations, EU institutions, and the Comité Europeo de las Regiones toward a cleaner, healthier Europe.
