In a context of increasing climate concerns, economic and political instability, and rising
inequality, young people are at the forefront of change. Human Development Research
Initiative, reminds the world that youth leadership must be recognized, amplified and
supported in designing inclusive, equitable and sustainable development for all.
Together, we commit to reinforcing the pillars of the 1995 Declaration, and we expand its
vision, promoting diversity, equity and human dignity by bringing forward the voices of
young people from all around the world.
